Pedro and Joana's surprise proposal in gondola

I had the pleasure of capturing the love story of Pedro and Joana, an enchanting couple from the Lisbon, Portugal. Pedro reached out to me with a heartwarming request to document his surprise proposal to Joana in the romantic city of Venice.

After careful consideration, Pedro chose a dreamy gondola ride as the perfect setting to pop the question.

Proposal was a part of the photoshoot and Joana, who loves to have her photographs taken, didn't suspect anything.

So we embarked on our photo session early in the morning, before the tourist hustle of San Marco Square. We continued exploring little alleys and picturesque canals, capturing precious moments along the way. We had a little break to enjoy some coffee and fresh Italian pastry in a little street café.

To conclude our unforgettable experience, I suggested we embark on a private gondola ride.

It was on a serene, secluded canal that Pedro summoned the courage to ask for Joana's hand in marriage. Overwhelmed with joy, she happily accepted his proposal, and I was there to immortalize the precious moment.
