Katie family photoshoot in Venice

Katie contacted me for her family photoshoot in Venice in October. It was a warm autumn. So even if it was a mid October they could have summer outfits for their family photos.

Katie let me know that one of her children using a wheelchair so I kept it in mind planing a route to have less bridges.

Venice is one of the less wheelchair accessible cities in the world. Most of the bridges don’t have ramps and only few hotels will have an elevator.

I’m very happy that this fact didn’t discourage them from exploring Venice!

Since the sunrise was pretty late on this day we could start at 8am and have the perfect light for photos.

We opt for San Marco route as it was mostly flat and close to the place they were staying.

Kids were in a good mood light was great – just a perfect setting for family photos!

We started with some photos at famous gondola docs at San Marco mollo. Then we shoot at the arched gallery of the Doge palace.

We strolled San Marco square and then head off for some photos on bridges and little streets. We had enough time also for kids portraits and for some romantic photos for mom and dad!
